School Teacher (Class 1 to 5)	General Eligibility: Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and a 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed) OR Senior Secondary with 45% marks and 2 year D.EI.Ed as per NCTE Regulations 2002 OR Senior Secondary with 50 % marks and 4-year B.EI.Ed. or Graduation with 2 year D.EI.E. Urdu Teacher: Maulvi / Alim from Bihar State Madarsa Education Board/MMHAPU Patna, or Intermediate in Urdu (Minimum 50% Marks) or Graduation in Urdu. Bangla Teacher: Intermediate with Bangla (minimum50 % marks), or Graduation in Bangla. NIOS D.EI.Ed. Note: 18 month NIOS D.EI.Ed. diploma is valid only for teachers appointed and working before 10 Aug. 2017.
Middle School Teacher (Class 6 to 10)	General Eligibility:Graduation Degree with 2-year D.EI.Ed. OR Graduation / POST Graduation with Minimum 50 % Marks and B.Ed. Dance (Code G): Graduation Degree in Dance Education with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University/Board. Mathematics Subject Group: Studied Mathematics with any two subjects among Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Chemistry, or Statistics at the Graduation level OR B.E./B.Tech degree with specialization in Mathematics (BCA included). Science Subject Group: Studied Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry at the Graduation level OR B.E./B.Tech degree with specialization in Science (Includes Biotechnology & Microbiology). Social Science Subject Group: Passed any two subjects at the Graduation level among History, Geography, Economics, and Political Science (History or Geography is mandatory). Ancient History is considered equivalent to History. Languages: Studied the concerned language as an Honours/Subsidiary subject at the Graduation level.
Secondary School Teacher (TGT) Special  (Class 9 to 10)	Graduation Degree with minimum 50% marks + B.Ed in Special Education (with valid CRR No. registered with RCI) + 6-month Training in Cross Disability (If training is not completed, 2-year timeline allowed post-appointment
10+2 School Teacher (PGT) (Class 9 to 10)	General Subjects: Post Graduation (Master's Degree) in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks + B.Ed (OR 45% marks as per NCTE 2002/2007 norms) OR BA.Ed / B.Sc.Ed OR Minimum 55% marks in PG with 3-Year Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed. Computer Science (Code L): B.E/B.Tech (CS/IT), MCA, M.Sc (CS), B.Sc (CS)/BCA with PG degree, or DOEACC 'A'/'B'/'C' Level with PG/Graduation. (B.Ed is not mandatory for Computer Science).
